Hello, I’m Vineta — a master florist with over 20 years of experience, originally trained in Europe and now proudly based in Maidstone, Kent.
My love for floristry began when I was a shy girl growing up in Latvia, collecting flowers, drying them, and making little cards for family. Nature was always my language — it still is. Over the years, that childhood passion has grown into a lifelong career doing what I love most: creating with flowers.
After moving to the UK in 2014, I followed my dream and opened my own flower shop in Maidstone town centre in 2018. It’s become a place full of colour, scent, and creativity — where every design is made by hand, with heart. I’m proud that so many of the flowers and foliage I use are grown right here in the UK, and much of my greenery comes from local growers. Sustainability and authenticity are always part of what I do.
Every piece I make is bespoke — no bunches from buckets, just natural, elegant arrangements crafted with care. Whether it’s a wild, garden-inspired bouquet, wedding flowers, or something deeply personal like a farewell tribute, I listen closely to every story and bring it to life through flowers.
I also love sharing my knowledge and passion through workshops and floral demonstrations across Kent, helping others discover the joy of working with nature’s textures and colours.
Over the years, I’ve collaborated with wonderful local businesses and venues including The Orangery, The Orchard, The Dreys, and The Village Hotel, as well as some beautiful spaces further afield. Each new project brings something special — a chance to create, connect, and make people smile.
For me, floristry is more than a business — it’s a way to bring a little bit of natural beauty into everyday life.
